What do I need to do to join?

You don't need to do anything to join - you will be automatically enrolled on the day you start working for the Company, provided you are between 16 – 74 years of age. A ‘new joiners’ pack will normally have been sent as part of your offer of employment. Our handy checklist details all the information that will be included in the pack.

As a member, you will start to build up a fund to provide a pension from the first day you join, plus you will be immediately covered for lump sum and pension death benefits.

When you join, if you wish to pay additional contributions to benefit from the Matching Company Credits please complete and return a Decision Form.

But it's your choice - you don't have to join if you don't want to. You may change your mind and opt out at any time. You must give the Trustee one month’s notice by submitting an Opt Out Form. However, if you do opt out benefits for your family would be reduced.

You should also complete an Expression of Wish form to register your preferred recipient for any benefits payable if you die before retirement.
